We are proud to announce that Brickanta has been awarded the WOW Award 2026 at Framtidsdagen in Stockholm.
The WOW Award, presented by ByggFramtid, recognises ideas, innovations, and initiatives that have the potential to contribute to smarter, more sustainable, and more efficient development of the built environment. The award was presented on September 23 at Framtidsdagen in Stockholm.
For us at Brickanta, this recognition is a validation of the potential behind what we are building: a new generation of AI-powered tools for the built environment.
From AI Potential to Practical Impact
AI is developing rapidly. But the bigger question is how the technology can actually create value in people’s everyday work and in the industries that shape our society.
At Brickanta, we use agentic AI to rethink how complex tasks can be carried out. Rather than simply assisting with individual tasks, AI agents can take responsibility for parts of a workflow, collaborate with people, and work towards clearly defined goals.
For the built environment sector, this opens up new opportunities to manage greater complexity, automate time-consuming work, and free up time for the things that require human experience, judgment, and creativity.
A Recognition of Innovation
The WOW Award recognizes factors such as innovation, future potential, sustainable impact, and the so-called WOW factor – the combination of simplicity, originality, and impact that makes people stop and think: “That’s brilliant.”
We believe the future of the built environment will require new ways of bringing together people, technology, and knowledge. AI will be an important part of that development, but the real opportunity lies in what we can actually do with the technology in practice.
That is the journey we want to continue driving together with our customers and partners.

Jury motivation:
Brickanta has shown how AI can be used to reduce the administrative burden in construction projects and free up more time for the production itself. When searching for information, reviewing and handling documents take up less time, more energy can go into quality, planning, the work environment and safety.
By analysing tenders and quotes, creating tender documents, supporting procurement and quality assurance, and capturing lessons learned between projects, Brickanta has tackled several parts of the construction process at once.
In an industry where demands are growing faster than resources, the ability to make use of knowledge that has already been built up is becoming increasingly important. Brickanta's potential lies in making experience and decision-making material available throughout the project and on into the next one.
The WOW factor lies in the ability to give the entire project organisation better conditions for making the right decisions earlier, and at the end of the day to put more of its expertise where it belongs: in the building itself.
